“Jump on In II” (The water is fine) is a small series of paintings I made to make peace with watercolor paints. With acrylic paint being my preferred medium, watercolors have always intrigued me. But, I had a failed foray into watercolor in a college classroom years ago. This series was my attempt to make peace with watercolor and enjoy the different qualities it has. These bright and fun painting remind me of swimming pools & snowcones.
